 Printing labels
Solution Q: I like the labels that came with the Kit. What software did you use?

A: We used Adobe InDesign to create our labels, and then we print them on our home laser printer with Avery style labels.

Since this software can be expensive, we suggest simply using a program like Word to make your labels. Many label companies will even supply you with templates for Word. Then, you can format your fancy text and even drag and drop images in the Word document you create based on the template.

Of course, you do not have to use Microsoft Word. Just any program that will open a Word document. You can visit OpenOffice.org for free solutions.

You can find templates at Avery.com right here: http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/Templates-%26-Software/Templates

There are even bulk label companies that carry label templates on their site, such as http://www.worldlabel.com/

You can make labels with ANY design program, but what we outline above is simple and can be virtually free (except for the labels).

Hope this helps!
